What is the thing that you do, that will let you forget about the time and everything, and you know you will always find joy and peace from it?
For me, it is entering my plant room, look at my plants and some how I just start to do different things, like repotting, remove the old leaves, check the roots, cut off old flower stems and pollinating (right now in May I feel like a bee buzzing arround them everyday). After walking out of that room, several hours gone... those are my therapy moments.
I'm very grateful that I found something to feel passionate about, which I can also see myself doing in the next decades or maybe in my retired life. It all starts from a boring night in 2022 Summer when I randomly order some succulents from an online shop and got my first Haworthia and I felt in love with the chubby leaves immediatly. (And almost all other succulents like Echeverias and Lithops ordered at the same time are killed by me...) Then i just started collecting another and another from different nursaries and private sellers and even make my own hybrids, the number then explode to over 500+ today...
I also like to share the photos on my instagram account, but with the time I feel I need another place share my thought, document my knowledges and experience about Haworthien in a more organized way. As a developer, I also always wanted to build some plant growth tracking application. With all those motivation I built this website, and happy to receive any advice to improve or you can also tell me the topics that you are interested :)
Well thank you for coming and visiting my beautiful plants, I'm more than happy to share my passion. Hope you also enjoy it :)
My very first Haworthia, a H.cymbiformis

And the second one, a H.mordor, it really looks like an alien creature and today I still love it so much!! (an alien fan speaking)
After three year it looks like this
